So a redneck thug beats a gay man so badly the man later dies... What happens next??? Well, the guy gets 5 years prison with 2 waived for time served.

I'm guessing the grand jury figured since the victim was just a gay man, it didn't matter as much. Reminds me of the old laws in SC that said killing a black person could not be murder (on the grounds that slaves were not people).

Once again makes me glad I moved away... unfortunately not far enough..
